HB4013 HFA Marcum 2-15 #1

            Delegate Marcum moves to amend Com Sub for HB4013 on page 7, section 34, line 155, following the words “write-in candidate;” by inserting the following:

            “or a family member of a candidate or official write-in candidate who also works as an employee in the circuit clerk’s office.  That same employee shall be removed from assisting in the election process during that election year.  The circuit clerk shall establish standards to provide integrity in the voting process by keeping employees of his or her office away from the election process when an immediate family member is up for election;”
